PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE - January 2010
Dear Members:
We had our Silent Auction and our Covenant House Drive in December and it was very successful. We had everything from restaurant gift certificates, day spa gift certificate, beauty baskets, blankets and Sports tickets, AND almost everything in between. It was a great deal of fun, except for all the tripping to get to the auction bid sheet prior to the table closing; but a good time had by all.
The following is a short synopsis of the remaining calendar year:
January - No Meeting
February - General Meeting including 2 Hour CE – “Risk
Management, including claims management
strategies.” Our instructor will be Millie
Gibson. We will also be voting on “are we
sending delegates informed but uninstructed
or informed and instructed
March - No Meeting
April - General Meeting including 2 Hour CE on
Business Income – our instructor will be Tessa
Wilson from Umialik Insurance – We will also
be voting for our new Board, Professional of
the Year and a Delegate and Alternate to go to
the National Convention
May - No Meeting
June - Installation & Award Ceremony
We are also looking at one more half day CE class as well. If you have requests for CE classes please feel free to contact me at 240-3498.
